STARHATO SHIPPING POLICY

At Starhato, we are dedicated to ensuring that your premium plant purchases arrive in pristine condition and in a timely manner. Our shipping policy is crafted to provide clarity and assurance about the process, from order placement to delivery. We understand that plants are living, delicate items, and we take extra precautions to protect them during transit.

Shipping Destinations

We proudly ship throughout the contiguous United States. Currently, we do not offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations. We are constantly evaluating our operations to expand our reach, and any changes to our shipping destinations will be promptly updated on our website.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days of placement. During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer, but we will communicate any delays transparently. Our team meticulously prepares each plant for shipping, which includes carefully packaging to ensure the plant’s stability and protection. We only ship plants on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure that the plants don’t sit in a warehouse over the weekend, which could be detrimental to their well being. If we receive an order for shipping after Tuesday, it will be shipped the following week.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

We use a combination of trusted shipping carriers (such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS) to ensure efficient and reliable delivery. The shipping method and estimated delivery time will vary depending on your location and the size/weight of your order. Typically, delivery times range from 3-7 business days after the processing time. Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed due to factors outside our control, like weather conditions and carrier delays. We will provide you with a tracking number once your order has shipped, so you can monitor its journey.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors, including the size, weight, and destination of your order. You will be able to view the shipping cost during the checkout process, before finalizing your purchase. We strive to offer transparent and competitive shipping rates. Occasionally, we may offer free shipping promotions, which will be advertised on our website and through our marketing channels.

Packaging

We take exceptional care in packaging our plants to ensure they arrive in optimal condition. Our packaging includes:

  • Secure Potting: We secure the plant pot to prevent shifting during transit.

  • Protective Sleeves: Each plant is placed in a protective sleeve or wrapping to shield it from physical damage.

  • Cushioning Material: We use ample cushioning material to minimize the risk of damage from shocks during transportation.

  • Climate Considerations: Depending on the climate of the destination, we may add heat packs or cold packs to regulate temperature in transit.

Shipping Damage and Lost Packages

While we take utmost care in packaging, unforeseen issues can occur during transit. If you receive a damaged package, please do the following:

  1. Document the Damage: Immediately take photos of the damaged package and its contents.

  2. Contact Us: Email us within 24 hours of receiving the damaged package. Please include the photos and your order number.

  3. Resolution: We will work with you to resolve the issue. We may offer a replacement or a refund based on the severity of the damage.

If your package is lost in transit, please contact us immediately so we can file a claim with the carrier and work to resolve the issue. We will work to ensure you receive your order as swiftly as possible.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number. You can use this tracking number to monitor the delivery progress of your order. If you encounter any issues with tracking, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

It is imperative that you provide an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for packages that are undeliverable due to inaccurate or incomplete address information.
